Conway Consulting serve outsiders building power rooted in people: independents, movements, campaigns, and public figures outside the mainstream. This work isn’t about hype cycles, viral tactics, or short-term wins. It’s about earning credibility, building alignment, and creating support that lasts when the going gets touch.
Will Conway has served in executive leadership for modern national independent movements in the United States, including No Labels, Forward Party and many others. He led Politics & Advocacy at NationBuilder, where he worked with organizations from the American Heart Association to Andrew Yang for President and Exelon Nuclear Energy. Conway has been quoted and interviewed by major publications including National Public Radio (NPR), The Guardian and Yahoo! News, among countless other publications and podcasts. After the death of NationBuilder CEO and friend Jim Gilliam in late 2018, Conway left NationBuilder with a one-way plane ticket to Cartagena, Colombia. He spent most of 2019 exploring Colombia, Peru, Panama, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, including three weeks in the Amazon Rainforest, five weeks road-tripping down the coast of war-torn Chile, and three months in small villages across Colombia. He eventually met his wife, Fanny, at a hostel in Rio de Janeiro. They live together with their one-eyed pup, aptly named Rio.
